Grieving is a
labor of love.
The experience of grief is a profound labor where love and pain unite. This journey often begins well before a final goodbye, unfolding through the quiet work of caregiving and living with uncertainty. For others, a goodbye is never granted; the image of life as they knew it changes in an instant.
Whether your loss is sudden or expected - whether it is a pet, a loved one, or another major life transition - the arc of grieving is a deeply impactful journey. It transforms raw, shattering loss into an enduring testament of connection. Yes, these paths are often complicated by the heavy disappointment of things not going the way we had hoped or planned. Grief becomes a labor of love, and also one of healing, reckoning, and reconciling a reality we may have never wanted to face.
About Me
Hi, I’m Erica Flowers. Labor of Love Grief Support was born from my own profound experiences with loss—of special people, beloved animals, and through difficult chapters in life.
While grief can be a source of great suffering, I believe it is also one of our greatest teachers. The grieving process can create spaces for personal transformation and growth in ways that are hard to imagine when the arc of grief feels fresh and disorienting.
As I complete my Master of Social Work degree this August, my intention is to bring together my training and years of lived experience to support you wherever you are on the journey of grief - an experience that is truly a labor of love.
